This term at East Point Academy, audiences have been treated to another fantastic school production. This year's performances were of the well-known Disney film (turned actual musical), High School Musical.

The story follows Troy and Gabriella, who first meet at a party before the school term starts. Luck has it that they are brought together again in auditions for the school musical on their return to campus. However, trying to balance sports practice, studies and other obligations proves tricky for the high schoolers. Displaying quick wit and help from their friends they manage to figure it out, just in time to secure lead roles together, with antagonists Sharpay and Ryan settling to be their understudies.

The cast and crew of this year’s performance have once again delivered a stand-out production for our families. There was plenty to celebrate as they sang, dance and acted their way through the musical. The set-design and costumes looked fantastic, transporting us into the American school.

Dedicated cast and crew have made this performance another success for the academy. Tremendous thanks for the hard work and resilience of staff and pupils, committing their time to the production and once again delivering another entertaining show for the whole community to enjoy. We are so proud of all the talented pupils involved who continue to inspire us.
