East Point Academy is expanding and improving its buildings

East Point Academy is expanding and refurbishing its classrooms - the major project will include a new teaching block, labs and an improved library.

The project - which is being delivered by Morgan Sindall Construction - will include a new 2,000sqm teaching block designed specifically for a coastal environment. 

"This is an exciting time for our school – we’re building new maths classrooms, top-quality science labs and additional areas for our SEND students. The improvements don’t stop there – we are also upgrading our indoor sports our facilities, dining area and library. Our students already have some of the best progress 8 scores in Suffolk – I look forward to seeing what they achieve in their new space.”

Classes at our school and continuing as normal - and Morgan Sindall Construction is making sure disruption for our school users and neighbours in minimised.

The project is due to finish in summer of 2021.
